What is the UmiSense humidity sensor?

The UmiSense moisture sensor is a moisture detector developed by Marrari for the continuous measurement of biomass, chips, and any other organic materials in production or power generation lines with communication via ModBus / RTU protocol. It is also extremely easy to install, as it is an individual sensor, it does not require an electrical panel, it is just the sensor and cables.

What is it for?

This humidity sensor is normally used in biomass-based cogeneration and energy generation plants (firewood, chips, residues) and also in the production process of various industries, from cellulose to animal feed.

How does the sensor help ensure moisture readings correctly?

It uses robust transducers based on the analysis of the dielectric strength of the medium, which ensures high performance and analysis of the entire material, not just its surface moisture. In addition to providing greater accuracy and repeatability of readings than other methods.

How does it integrate with Marrari equipment and other machines in the factory?

UmiSense uses standard communication protocols such as Modbus / RTU, and is also ready to be installed with the PSi 4, which allows communication and supervision of the entire plant or just the process and all the sensors used in it.
